Customer Service Representative

 

Hourly Rate: $20 / Per Hour 
Location: Mishawaka, IN - Manufacturing Facility
Hours:  8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday 


About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our nationwide operations. This role is critical in ensuring smooth order processing, strong customer relationships, and seamless communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and manage customer orders (stock, extrusion, and replenishment)
  • Maintain and update customer files, quotes, and part numbers
  • Coordinate with Production, Shipping, Sales, and Accounting teams
  • Assist customers with order status, tracking, pricing, and general inquiries
  • Prepare orders for production scheduling
  • Track materials and communicate with outside processors
  • Support inventory control processes
  • Process return requests and provide necessary documentation
  • Collect credit card information for Accounting processing
  • Update and distribute customer pricing sheets
  • Provide excellent, professional customer service at all times
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of customer service experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Experience with ERP systems (Epicor/Epics or Oracle preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable with strong attendance and work ethic
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
