Part Time Cashier

Our client, a dynamic retail establishment in Columbus, IN, is seeking a dedicated Part Time Cashier to join their team. As a Part Time Cashier, you will be an essential part of the customer service team, supporting daily operations and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and adaptability, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Part Time Cashier

Location: Columbus, IN

Pay Range: $15 /hr

Shift: 2-3 days per week, 10:00am - 5:30pm (flexible days), rotating Saturdays 10:00am - 2:00pm

What's the Job?

• Receive and disburse money using electronic scanners, cash registers, or related equipment
• Process credit or debit card transactions and validate checks accurately
• Operate POS systems with confidence and proficiency in computer use
• Assist with stocking merchandise and maintaining store organization
• Make and take orders for vendors and manage inventory effectively

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; training provided
• Basic proficiency with computers and electronic equipment
• Strong customer service orientation
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts including Saturdays
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
