Class A CDL Driver Direct Hire - Now Hiring

Job Title:  Class A CDL Driver  Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $25.00-$35.00 based on experience 

Hours: 5:30am-2:00pm, Monday-Friday with some overtime if needed

Length: Direct Hire

Location: Fond du Lac 

Requirements: 

• Minimum 1 year driving experience
• Must possess and able to maintain Class A CDL and medical card
• Clean driving and safety record working within DOT rules and regulations
• Previous experience delivering to customer locations preferred
• Use simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools preferred
• Push/pull and or lift 50-100 pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
• Forklift experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Moving trucks in the yard along with making shorter local runs- two locations, 7 mins apart
• Operate truck/tractor trailer for pick-up and delivery of material
• Maintain accurate records, log and ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations
• Perform safety checklist prior to operating equipment
• Responsible for refueling, checking fluid levels, replace bulbs and other general maintenance
• Verifying product labels and shipping documents prior to departure for delivery
• Loading/unloading and stacking finished products by hand, forklift or by pallet jack 
• Serve as a back up to straight truck driver
• Unload incoming material and place in proper inventory area
• Inspect incoming material for damage, make sure accurate count received
• Maintain inventory of supplies
