About the job

The Expeditor ensures smooth production flow by aligning ERP data with real-time floor activity

and eliminating bottlenecks.


We're looking for someone who

  • Has 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production coordination, or operations
  • support
  • Has experience in a low-mix, high-volume manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and can manage multiple priorities
  • simultaneously
  • Is highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, traceability, and data integrity
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Works well cross-functionally and can influence outcomes without direct authority
  • Is proficient in basic computer applications, spreadsheets, and ERP systems
  • Is comfortable working on the production floor with sustained physical presence
  • Is flexible and able to work extended hours or adjust schedule as needed


What you'll do

  • Drive daily execution of work orders to maintain continuous production flow across manufacturing, inspection, rework, and disposition
  • Attend production meetings and translate priorities into actionable tasks on the floor
  • Monitor work-in-process (WIP) to identify and resolve bottlenecks, stalled orders, and aging inventory
  • Manage inspection and rework queues to prevent delays and congestion
  • Conduct routine floor walks to ensure consistent material movement and workflow momentum
  • Ensure physical inventory, WIP, MRB, scrap, and finished goods match ERP system records
  • Investigate and resolve ERP discrepancies, including mislocated or improperly transacted work orders
  • Ensure accurate and timely transaction and closure of work orders
  • Support ERP reconciliation efforts to correct inventory and transaction inaccuracies
  • Coordinate incoming RMAs, including routing, tracking, and disposition
  • Manage scrap collection, logging, and routing while maintaining traceability
  • Support audits, scrap events, and investigations with documentation and logistics coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for work order status and updates, partnering with Project Managers
  • Communicate risks, constraints, and recovery plans across Production, Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams
  • Escalate issues appropriately while driving resolution at the lowest level possible
  • Track and follow through on assigned actions to completion
  • Identify recurring production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives


Physical requirements

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods on the production floor
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
