Plan Review: Analyzed architectural plans, engineering drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to define the project scope.

Quantity Takeoffs: Measured and tallied all material components required for the build.

Cost Analysis: Solicited and evaluated quotes from vendors and subcontractors while researching current market rates for labor and materials.

Bid Preparation: Compiled all data into a formal, structured bid proposal for submission.

Risk Assessment: Identified potential hurdles, such as adverse weather and material shortages, and factored in necessary contingencies.

Value Engineering: Evaluated alternative materials and construction methods to reduce costs while maintaining design quality.

Site Inspections: Conducted site visits to assess terrain, utilities, and logistical challenges affecting the final cost.

Our goal is to hire chief estimator who can take on managing role of our estimating department, but we will consider entry level candidate that we can train as well. Salary will be discussed based on experience level

Required skills:

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping) and construction methods.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with takeoff and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, QuoteSoft, MS Office).
• Analytical Ability: Strong mathematical and analytical skills for evaluating cost, labor productivity, and potential setbacks.
