CT Technologist
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour shifts with 30-minute lunch break
• Weekend coverage required on rotating schedule
• Float between hospital and outpatient departments as needed
• Float to sister facilities nearby contracted facility when required
• Guaranteed hours with facility able to call off once per two-week pay period
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Venipuncture Certification, Fluoro Permit
• Epic charting system experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Perform CT scans including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis with/without contrast
• Handle emergency department cases, trauma, and code stroke procedures
• Work with all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Perform specialized procedures including biopsies, aspirations, drainage, and vascular CTA
• Starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture required
• Dress code: Black scrubs for imaging technicians
• Reduced orientation of specified hours vs. standard 40-hour orientation
• Non-billable modules averaging 16 hours completed pre-start and annually

This acute care hospital features 277 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The facility utilizes Epic charting system and offers free parking for staff. The hospital handles a wide range of cases including trauma, stroke protocols, and transplant studies, maintaining modern imaging equipment and supporting both inpatient and outpatient services across multiple departments.
