Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Looking for an opportunity to provide invaluable support to students across various grade levels? An opening is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to cover a maternity leave for the fall term. This is a contract role serving K-12 students, offering a chance to make a measurable difference during a critical transitional period in their academic journey. You'll be supporting multiple schools, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and impacting the well-being and educational success of children and youth.
What you'll need:
- Valid licensure as a School Psychologist
- Relevant experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, counseling, and collaborative problem-solving
- Flexible, adaptive communication with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload across multiple campus locations
Role responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Provide crisis intervention, short-term counseling, and evidence-based interventions
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student challenges
- Develop and assist with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with school guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and support a positive, inclusive school climate
This contract position runs from August 24th to November 30th, aligning with the academic calendar. The weekly schedule ranges from 35 to 37.5 hours, providing a stable but flexible work routine and meaningful professional engagement within the school community.
