Special Education Teacher - Boiling Springs, South Carolina

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in students’ educational journeys as a Special Education Resource Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, contract role is focused on supporting elementary students, ensuring they reach their academic and personal potential in a resource and inclusion setting.

In this position, you’ll utilize your expertise to create a positive, productive learning environment within a collaborative school-based team. Your contributions will span both push-in and pull-out support models, empowering diverse learners across core academic areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver resource support in reading, math, and additional academic subjects
• Implement individualized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP goals
• Support students in general education classrooms through direct instruction, co-teaching, and consultation
• Monitor progress, collect data, and maintain organized records
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and other special education staff
• Contribute actively to IEP meetings and maintain compliance documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid (active or pending) South Carolina Special Education teacher certification
• Previous experience in a resource or inclusion setting is highly valued
• Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and instruction
• Demonstrated ability to support elementary learners both academically and behaviorally
