Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an engaging contract opportunity as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist serving middle and high school students for the upcoming academic year. This full-time role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 17, 2027, with onsite hours totaling 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You’ll be working closely with students and staff, supporting learners as they navigate communication challenges and develop essential speech and language skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in New Hampshire
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in school settings is mandatory
- Comfortable managing a caseload of middle and high school students
- Ability to provide direct and consultative therapy services within a school environment
- District fingerprint clearance (required before start date)
- Candidates must be available for Zoom interviews during the hiring process
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess speech, language, and communication abilities of referred students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress
- Document student performance, track goals, and maintain records in accordance with district and state regulations
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, staff conferences, and other required school functions
