Support at-home chronic care management as a skilled Pharmacy Technician III within a mail order pharmacy setting. This 13-week contract opportunity offers a patient-focused environment where attention to detail and quick problem-solving contribute to seamless prescription processing and medication fulfillment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret sig codes and accurately select products to process prescription refills
• Enter data, verify insurance details, and resolve any processing rejections
• Prepare, label, and package medications for pharmacist approval ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Maintain inventory through cycle counts and manage medication returns efficiently
• Handle inbound and outbound patient calls, as well as respond to prescriber inquiries professionally
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations, Medicare/Medicaid requirements, and organizational protocols

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Active Virginia Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification
• Excellent communication skills paired with strong multitasking and time management abilities
