We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our team for the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This role involves handling various materials within a warehouse environment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and stage materials and components for production and customer orders.
- Prepare shipments according to work orders and delivery schedules.
- Verify accuracy of orders, quantities, and part numbers.
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
- Transport materials between warehouse and production floor.
- Supply parts and components to assembly teams as needed.
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks and deliveries.
- Operate material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Dispose of packaging materials and support recycling initiatives.
- Assist with assembly, packaging, or light production work as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Warehouse experience.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Material handling.
- Inventory management.
- Picking and packing skills.
- Experience using a pallet jack.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.
- Experience with inventory systems or RF scanners is a plus.
- Basic math skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks.

Work Environment
Work in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment, where you will be standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout your shift. Safety is a priority, and all team members are expected to follow established safety protocols. Casual attire is acceptable, and you will be operating material handling equipment regularly.

This is a Contract position based out of Naugatuck, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
