Job Description

This role focuses on assembling steel panels and preparing finished products for staging in a manufacturing environment. You will work as part of a collaborative team, using hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and occasionally supporting material handling tasks to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the assembly department and actively contribute as a team player.
  • Assemble parts at a workstation or on the floor, following established procedures and quality standards.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and blueprints to assemble 4-foot steel panels accurately and safely.
  • Build wooden pallets to support finished products.
  • Load finished pallets and move them to the designated staging area.
  • Occasionally operate a forklift to move materials or finished goods as needed.
  • Support general material handling tasks to ensure consistent workflow within the department.
  • Maintain good attendance and reliability to support production schedules.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Stand for extended periods while performing assembly and related duties.
Essential Skills
  • Proven mechanical inclination, such as experience working on or fixing vehicles or similar mechanical systems.
  • Prior manufacturing experience in an industrial facility, production environment, or warehouse.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Comfort working with assembly tasks involving steel panels and wooden pallets.
  • Capability to read and follow basic blueprints or assembly instructions.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand on your feet for an entire shift.
  • Willingness to occasionally operate a forklift, with appropriate training provided if needed.
  • Capacity to perform general labor tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in assembly or general labor roles within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
  • Comfort working both at a desk and on the floor, depending on the task.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members across assembly and material handling functions.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and safe pallet building.
  • Openness to learning new tools, processes, and equipment as needed.

Pay and Benefits
