Job Summary

A real estate and property management organization in the West Los Angeles area is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and team management for a diverse portfolio of residential properties and development projects.The ideal candidate will bring strong property accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and experience using Yardi.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and lead an accounting team of 6, providing guidance, training, workflow oversight, and performance support.
- Oversee accounting operations and financial reporting for residential properties and development projects.
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
- Ensure accurate property accounting, general ledger activity, cash management, and reporting

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $140,000 to $200,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: West Los Angeles, CA.
