Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students as a part-time Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting near Woonsocket, RI. Your background in pediatric speech therapy and dedication to excellence will allow you to deliver individualized, student-centered interventions. Working just two days per week, you’ll have the flexibility to balance your professional and personal commitments while helping children achieve their communication goals.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Active Rhode Island SLP licensure and required certifications (CCC).
  • Demonstrated experience in pediatric or school-based speech therapy.
  • Working knowledge of IEPs, assessments, and progress monitoring for K-12 students.
  • Commitment to collaborating with educators, families, and other service providers.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEPs.
  • Deliver direct and consultative services to students across kindergarten through grade 12.
  • Monitor progress and participate in IEP meetings with faculty and families.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to support evidence-based practices.
