Per Diem Retail Pharmacy Technician - Sacramento, CA

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A growing retail pharmacy team in the greater Sacramento area seeks Per Diem Pharmacy Technicians to support multiple locations, including potential assignments in Lodi and Stockton. This role requires reliable candidates who are willing and able to commute throughout the entire greater Sacramento region to meet staffing needs. The schedule includes days, evenings, and weekends, with a commitment of at least 2-3 days per week and the possibility for additional hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, and filling/dispensing prescriptions
• Operate cash registers, manage inventory, and handle takebacks efficiently
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth pharmacy operations and excellent customer service

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting (candidates with less than 1 year of experience will not be considered)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• California Pharmacy Technician license; PTCB certification is a plus
• Ability and willingness to commute throughout the greater Sacramento area; mileage reimbursement provided for travel exceeding 30 miles from home

Additional Details:

• Positions offer consistent week-to-week revenue and increased pay rates based on experience:• $36.00 or more for 2+ years of experience• $37.65 for 4+ years of experience
• A couple of days of training provided by the client to ensure readiness
