This role involves safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment while supporting production by loading, unloading, and processing materials. You will work with heat-treating and washing equipment, and help maintain a clean, efficient, and safe plant.
Responsibilities
- Operate processing equipment such as washers, hardening furnaces, annealing furnaces, and other related machinery according to established procedures.
- Set up and support production processes by preparing equipment, materials, and workstations as needed.
- Load and unload parts and scrap into machines safely and efficiently.
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and hand trucks to move materials, stage product, and position materials at workstations.
- Handle materials throughout the facility, including picking, loading, and moving product to designated locations.
Essential Skills
- Experience operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Some manufacturing experience, including material handling or machine operation.
- Basic experience with machine operation, including loading, unloading, and monitoring equipment.
- Comfort working around furnaces, washers, and other heat-treating or processing equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience with both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Experience in picking, loading, and general warehouse or plant material handling.
- Experience working with furnaces, washers, or similar industrial equipment.

Work Environment
The role typically operates on 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.) or 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.).

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.09 - $22.50/hr.
