The Assembler plays a key role in producing high-quality products by accurately assembling and inspecting components in a manufacturing environment. This position sets up and monitors production, maintains a safe and efficient work area, and actively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, production, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components using hand and power tools in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
- Inspect finished and in-process products to ensure they meet all quality and performance specifications.
- Set up and monitor production activities to maintain efficient workflow and meet production targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety guidelines and best practices.
- Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent and accurate assembly.
- Identify and report any product, process, or equipment issues and participate in troubleshooting efforts.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, production efficiency, and product quality.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues that impact production.
- Operate machinery and equipment as required, including potential operation of powered industrial trucks when trained and authorized.
- Adhere to all safety policies and actively participate in maintaining a safe work environment.
- Hands-on assembly experience, including small assembly work.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks with precision and strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret information and concepts effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with others while also working independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent observation skills to identify key details, defects, and potential issues.
- Troubleshooting skills to address assembly, equipment, or process challenges.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative thinking and idea generation to support process and quality improvements.
- Willingness to participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
- Comfort working around machinery and in an industrial environment.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, procedures, and safety protocols.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing environment on the 1st shift, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You will generally report to a supervisor or manager and work around production machinery with moderate exposure to mechanical, chemical, biological, and physical risks, following appropriate safety procedures. Lifting requirements are typically at or below 30 pounds without significant repetition. The position may involve operating powered industrial trucks, classified at least as industrial and potentially heavy depending on other exposures. The work area emphasizes safety, organization, and efficiency, with appropriate attire and protective equipment used to ensure a safe and professional environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
