Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Elk Grove, CA

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This per diem opportunity offers consistent weekly revenue by supporting multiple pharmacy sites across the greater Sacramento area, including possible coverage in Lodi and Stockton. Candidates must be prepared to provide flexible coverage across these locations to meet staffing needs.

Location: Greater Sacramento Area (including Elk Grove, Lodi, Stockton)

Schedule:

• Days, evenings, and weekends shifts available
• Flexibility to cover multiple sites as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience as a pharmacy technician in a high-volume retail setting (candidates with less than 1 year of experience will not be considered)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills essential
• Ability to adapt to different pharmacy environments within the service area

Responsibilities:

• Perform core retail pharmacy duties, including answering phones and data entry
• Print labels and accurately fill and dispense medications
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions efficiently
• Manage inventory and process takebacks in compliance with pharmacy standards
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and excellent customer service
