School-Based Physical Therapist - Nashua, New Hampshire

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hold valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Hampshire (or eligibility for licensure)
• Experience in a school-based environment preferred
• Understanding of pediatric therapy practices and best approaches for school-aged children
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with educators and families
• Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
• Flexibility to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver PT evaluations, assessments, and direct therapy services to students
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ IEP goals
• Monitor and document progress, maintaining compliance with school and federal guidelines
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other allied professionals
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary team planning
• Educate students, staff, and caregivers on movement techniques and adaptive strategies

This contract role runs the full 2026-2027 academic year with a consistent weekly schedule of 32-35 hours, allowing you to build meaningful connections with students over time.
