JOB SUMMARY
The Medical Device Assembler plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for assembling orthopedic implants and instruments while ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly motivated, and committed to maintaining product quality and patient safety in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Assemble and build orthopedic implants and instruments according to established procedures, specifications, and work instructions.
• Perform quality inspections and checks to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with cleanroom and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and support process improvements.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality system requirements to maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
• Meet production schedules and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety, product quality, and adherence to documented quality processes and procedures.

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably within the medical device industry.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small tools and precision components.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures accurately.
• Basic understanding of quality control principles and manufacturing best practices.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• Strong professionalism, reliability, and commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.

Preferred Qualifications
• Technical or vocational training in a related field preferred.
• Experience in orthopedic implant manufacturing or medical device assembly.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO standards related to medical device manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Certifications
• Technical or vocational certifications related to manufacturing or assembly are considered a plus.

Education: High School or equivalent
