Job Description

We are seeking an A&T Technician to join our team. The role performs hydraulic and electrical component assembly, testing, and process operations on complex hydraulic components, assemblies, and systems in support of new production and repair and overhaul activities. The technician will use mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, specialized fixtures, tooling, gauging, and torque mechanisms to meet build requirements. The role will read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and parts lists, and provide clear written documentation of results and conditions. The position will set up and execute operational tests on high-precision test stands using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment, diagnose test failures, assess hardware condition, and recommend rework and configuration changes. The role will also support day-to-day production administration within the team and may travel to customer sites or other locations as needed. Off-shift work may be required for short periods to meet delivery schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble hydraulic and electrical components, subassemblies, and systems using fixtures, tooling, gauging, and torque mechanisms.
  • Interpret drawings, work instructions, and parts lists to achieve specified build requirements and document results.
  • Set up and perform operational tests on high-precision test stands using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment.
  • Diagnose test failures, assess hardware condition, and recommend rework instructions and configuration changes.
  • Perform day-to-day production administration tasks within the team to support operations.
  • Provide clear written communication on performance results and situational findings.
  • Travel to customer facilities or other company locations to service or support hardware as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic test equipment, and torque tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and parts lists.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose test failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Clear written and verbal communication and teamwork in a production environment.
  • High School Diploma or formal training equivalency with 5 years of related technical experience, or 3 years of directly related experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with high-precision hydraulic test stands and data recording systems.
  • Background in repair and overhaul environments and configuration management.
