Job Title: Packaging Operator

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime as needed)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Operator to support production by performing manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of products. The role requires adherence to quality standards, safety guidelines, and established procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of finished products
• Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications
• Inspect in-process materials and remove defective items
• Maintain accurate documentation, including inventory counts and production records
• Perform basic mathematical calculations for batch records
• Assist with inventory counting and tracking
• Follow all safety guidelines and participate in safety audits and daily discussions
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
• Follow proper PPE and contamination control procedures (gowning as required)
• Handle materials and waste according to safety procedures

Technical Skills

Must Have:

• Ability to follow procedures and quality specifications
• Ability to read and understand documentation

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing or production experience
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with general software
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
