Adjunct Professor

Overview:

We are currently hiring qualified Teachers/Instructors/Professors for long term, multi year contracts in Newport News, VA.

Description:

• Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel.
• Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
• Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
• Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments.
• May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.
• May be responsible for development of e-learning programs.

Qualifications:

• US Citizenship.
• BS Degree or Associates Degree with experience in drafting and/or ship construction.
• 3+ years of relevant teaching/instructor experience.
• Experience teaching in both face to face and online environments.
• Familiarity with instructional and course management technology as well as course design.
• Teaching experience, Navy experience/knowledge and/or Drafting experience,

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Newport News, VA.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
