Location: Robinsonville, MS
Position SummarySeeking a CNC Machinist with formal machining training, certification, apprenticeship, or technical education to support precision manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC equipment, interpreting blueprints, utilizing precision measuring tools, and maintaining quality standards in a production environment.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing facility producing high-precision components while developing advanced CNC machining skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machining equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
Assist with machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and basic program adjustments.
Monitor machine performance and verify dimensional accuracy and product quality.
Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and inspection tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and basic GD&T requirements.
Identify tooling wear, machine issues, and quality concerns.
Perform routine housekeeping and preventive maintenance activities.
Complete production, quality, and operational documentation accurately.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team problem-solving activities.
Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
Machining Certification, Technical School Diploma, Apprenticeship, Vocational Training, Associate Degree in Machining, Machine Tool Technology, Precision Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
2+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience operating CNC lathes, mills, grinders, or similar machining equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
Familiarity with precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
Commitment to quality, accuracy, and workplace safety.
NIMS Certification or equivalent machining credential.
2-4 years of CNC machining experience.
Exposure to CNC lathes, mills, grinding, balancing, drilling, or tapping operations.
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Experience in automotive, powertrain, aerospace, or precision manufacturing environments.
Experience with Siemens 840D controls is a plus.
Understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes.
Ability to stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, and industrial fluids.
Candidates should possess formal machining education or certification combined with hands-on CNC machining experience. Strong consideration will be given to individuals with NIMS certification, machining trade school training, apprenticeship backgrounds, or technical degrees in machining-related disciplines.
