Payrate: $19-$20 an hour

Job Description

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operators / General Production Workers to support high-volume manufacturing of plastic components. This role involves operating machinery, performing repetitive tasks, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met. Ideal candidates will have prior manufacturing experience and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery to produce plastic parts in high volume.
• Perform repetitive tasks such as loading materials, trimming, assembling, and packaging products.
• Inspect parts for quality, ensuring they meet specifications and standards.
• Utilize basic measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, gauges) to support quality control processes as needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Meet daily production and efficiency targets.
• Assist with basic machine setup and changeovers as needed.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of basic mechanical principles and how machinery operates.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to notice small details and ensure precision in work.
• Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic to measure and calculate dimensions/perform quality checks.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and troubleshoot basic problems with machinery.
• Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle tools and materials accurately.
• Communication Skills: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production, machine operation, and machining.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
