Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active Rhode Island SLP license/certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience delivering speech and language therapy to pediatric and school-aged populations
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Previous school-based experience is highly valued

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for students in K-12
  • Design and execute individualized speech and language therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student outcomes, updating goals as needed
  • Attend meetings and share valuable input as part of the academic support team
  • Provide both direct and consultative services in accordance with students’ IEPs
