Pharmacist - Abernathy, Texas

This opportunity seeks experienced pharmacists to support a well-respected children’s hospital. The role focuses on providing high-quality inpatient pharmacy services in a fast-paced clinical environment. Candidates will work a consistent four 10-hour day schedule, ensuring focused and balanced coverage.

Location: Abernathy, TX (supporting Lubbock Children's Hospital)

Schedule / Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and accurate medication dispensing and distribution for pediatric inpatient patients
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy plans
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication management systems
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and hospital policies
• Participate in clinical rounds and support patient counseling as needed

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis technology systems
• Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
