We are seeking a motivated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join an inpatient rehabilitation team focused on intensive, goal-oriented patient care. This role provides the opportunity to work with patients recovering from stroke, orthopedic surgery, neurological conditions, or other complex medical diagnoses in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
\nThe PTA will implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist, helping patients restore mobility, improve functional independence, and achieve safe discharge goals. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to ensure high-quality care and measurable outcomes.
\nKey Responsibilities:

Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed PT

Assist patients with transfers, gait training, balance, strengthening, and endurance exercises
\n - \n
Provide care for patients with neurological, orthopedic, or medically complex conditions
\n - \n
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT
\n - \n
Educate patients and caregivers on exercise programs and safe mobility strategies
\n - \n
Accurately document treatment sessions and progress notes in EMR
\n - \n
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including OT, SLP, nursing, and case management
\n - \n
Maintain productivity while ensuring patient-centered care
\n
Ideal Candidate:

Active PTA license in practicing state
\n - \n
Inpatient rehab experience preferred
\n - \n
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
\n - \n
Comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced rehabilitation setting
