Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Float Pool RN for a Telemetry position requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of experience, with floating across Medical, Cardiology, and Surgical units.

• Float Pool RN role rotating between Medical, Cardiology, and Surgical units
\n
• Adult patient population
\n
• Patient ratio of 1:5 on all shifts and weekends
\n
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00–19:00
\n
• Every other weekend coverage required
\n
• Floating between units is required
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• Pyxis medication dispensing system in use
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active WA or Compact RN license required
\n
• Active certifications required: BLS and ACLS
\n
• Preferred certifications: CPI and NIHSS
\n
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
\n
• Strong float pool experience required
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• Experience maintaining a 1:5 patient ratio
\n

• First-time travelers will be considered if they have strong prior float pool experience
\n
• Previous PeaceHealth employees (travel or permanent) should disclose prior facility and dates of employment
\n
• All required certifications must be active at time of consideration
\n
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
\n
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required
