Job Description
Our organization, a 25-bed critical access hospital, is on the lookout for a full-time Physician Assistant to become a part of our skilled and cooperative Primary Care team. As a member of a comprehensive healthcare network, our Primary Care team provides expert, patient-focused medical services across various locations, including Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, Waldoboro, and Wiscasset in Maine. This position will be based at our Primary Care Clinic located in Waldoboro.
In this position, you will have the exceptional chance to build lasting relationships with patients, offering high-quality and compassionate care to individuals and families. You will collaborate with a team of seasoned healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering outstanding primary care services that improve the health and wellness of our community.
As a designated HPSA worksite and a not-for-profit entity, primary care providers at our hospital may qualify for federal student loan repayment options, including the HRSA National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program and Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

Desired Qualifications & ExperienceEducation/Training:
Graduation from an accredited Physician Associate program.
Licenses/Certifications:
Eligibility to obtain a PA license in the State of Maine.
DEA certification.
Preferred certifications in ACLS and PALS.
