Locum Tenens CRNA – Brownwood, TX. 13-week, full-time anesthesia job for board-certified CRNAs in a community hospital setting in Central Texas. Join a collaborative team providing general anesthesia and perioperative care across a variety of case types.

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: 6,270 – 6,610
  • Location: Brownwood, TX 76801 (Central Texas)
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks (July 31, 2026 – October 30, 2026)
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Shift: Day shifts, 8 hours (07:00 – 15:00)

Qualifications / Job Requirements
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Board certification required
  • Active Texas RN license required; experience with Texas credentialing processes preferred
  • BLS certification preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of CRNA clinical experience
  • Ability to complete credentialing within 60–90 days for locum tenens positions
Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care including general anesthesia for a broad case mix: general surgery, dental, urology, orthopedics, ENT (including some pediatric cases), OB/GYN, dialysis, and basic cardiology procedures
  • Perform invasive monitoring as needed (arterial lines, central/invasive lines)
  • Regional anesthesia: peripheral nerve blocks and ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks (regional blocks preferred but not required)
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated perioperative care
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the hospital EMR and adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and anesthesia standards
