- CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills (APS) certification required
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN to provide high-quality nursing care in an inpatient behavioral health setting. The RN will assess, monitor, and support patients while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active Illinois RN license required
- BSN preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Behavioral Health/Psychiatric Nursing experience preferred
- CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with APS certification required
- Strong communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver nursing care for assigned patients
- Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately
- Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment
- Respond appropriately to behavioral health emergencies and crisis situations
