Join Our Team as an Acute Care Radiology Tech!\n\nJob Description:\n\n- Exciting Opportunity: Become a vital part of our healthcare team, using advanced imaging techniques to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.\n- Position Type: Traveler must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered.\n \nEssential Responsibilities:\n\n- Perform high-quality radiographic exams, working closely with healthcare providers.\n- Execute fluoroscopic diagnostic & therapeutic procedures, supporting radiology providers.\n- Conduct ultrasound-guided paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis.\n- Provide patient education on preparation and post-care for radiology procedures.\n- Assist in the fluoroscopic placement of PICC lines.\n- Collaborate in C-arm fluoroscopy exams in the operating room as required.\n- Maintain accurate documentation for interpretation, reporting, and archiving.\n- Ensure proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.\n- Participate in monitoring and improving hospital quality indicators.\n- Educate radiography students, new hires, and fellow radiology techs.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n- Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.\n- Montana Licensure (Radiology Technologist) is required.\n- ARRT certification (R) R.T.(R) is a must.\n- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.\n- At least one year of previous radiology experience or clinical internship.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\n\n- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain professionalism.\n- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.\n- Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.\n- Competent in current and new computer applications utilized in the healthcare setting.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\n- Ability to lift and handle weight up to 50 pounds.\n- Willingness to work extended hours and a flexible schedule.\n- On-call availability may be needed to support patient care.\n- Proficient in managing challenging situations effectively.\n\nExposures:\n\n- Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, infectious diseases, and various chemicals.\n- Ability to handle emotionally challenging situations with compassion and care.\n\nOpportunity Awaits: Join us in making a difference in patients' lives every day! \n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
