American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week cardiac cath lab assignment in Illinois.
Details- Work in a hospital-based cardiac cath lab with 2 procedure rooms
- Average caseload of 5 cases per day
- Cases include left/right heart cath, pacemaker/ICD implantation, loop recorder implants, peripheral vascular interventions, and STEMI interventions
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Typically 1 weekend shift per month required
- On-call required approximately 12 days per month with a 30-minute response time
- Epic EMR experience required
- No floating outside of assigned unit
- Minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience required
- Basic interventional radiology experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certification required
- Valid Illinois state license required (pending license accepted)
- License required if applicable
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Perform left/right heart catheterization, pacemaker and ICD implantation, loop recorder implants, peripheral vascular interventions, and STEMI interventions
- First-time travelers will be considered, though travel experience is preferred
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Parking is free in any unrestricted space
- Block scheduling requests are subject to manager discretion
- Limited to 1 RTO request per contract
