In the role of a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will play a vital role in patient care, addressing a diverse range of medical issues and injuries. Your capacity to quickly assess and treat patients, particularly during acute illnesses or traumatic events, will be essential. You will collaborate closely with the emergency room team leader and acute care nurse to uphold the highest standards of medical care.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on urgent needs
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement tailored care plans
• Administer treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians in a timely and accurate manner
• Educate patients and their families according to their specific requirements
• Ensure confidentiality and provide care without discrimination
• Follow safety protocols and infection control measures
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting
• Active nursing license in good standing in California
• ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications required; NRP and TNCC certifications must be obtained within one year of employment
