American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and prior travel assignment history.

- Work setting is a short-term acute care hospital and Level I Trauma Center \n
- Emergency Department (ER) unit \n
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00 \n
- On-call required as needed \n
- Weekends required as needed; weekend block schedule may be considered and can be discussed during the interview \n
- Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may occur, though cross-campus floating is rare \n
- Cerner EMR experience preferred \n
- 13-week contract \n
- \n
- Active RN license — state-specific (MS) or Compact (NLC); no pending licensure accepted \n
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required; 3+ years preferred \n
- Level I Trauma Center experience required \n
- Large hospital experience preferred \n
- ADN degree or higher required for this position \n
- Current BLS certification required \n
- Valid driver's license required for consideration \n
- At least one completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers are not eligible (exception: candidates with 3+ years of recent experience may be considered) \n

- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted \n
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved if not listed at the time of initial consideration \n
- Holiday coverage: if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall within the assignment period, travelers must be willing to work 2 of the 3; if only 2 of those holidays fall within the assignment, travelers must be willing to work at least 1 \n
- Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler \n
