Essential Functions and Duties:

\n

• · Ability to organize and coordinate nursing care delivery for clients assigned.
\n
• · No performance deficiencies caused by failure to adapt to new techniques.
\n
• · Ability to direct others in health care delivery.
\n
• · Requires regular talking and hearing.
\n
• · Must be able to stand 4-6 hours.
\n
• · Provides direct client care activities if required, in accordance with defined department and organization policies and procedures.
\n
• · Requires a concentrated level of attention.
\n
• · Ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
\n

Position Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current Illinois license. B.S.N. preferred or equivalent years of experience.
\n
• BLS certification required.
\n
• Demonstrates clinical competence; Assumes responsibility for own continued personal and professional growth.
\n
• CPI Certification required.
\n
• RN license from IL State.
\n

Preferred Skills and Abilities: 

\n

Ability to operate standard office equipment (i.e. copier, facsimile machine, 10-key, etc.); personal computer and printer and specific computer software (MS Office applications and Meditech).

\n

Physical Demands: · Requires grasping and reaching with hands/arms. · Ability to lift up to, but not limited to 25npounds when assisting clients, turning clients or assisting client with activities. · Requires bending, stooping, and walking. · Requires good body mechanics to prevent injury.
