Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Progressive Care night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of neuro-progressive or ICU experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

• Position is located in a Neuro Progressive Care unit within a hospital setting
\n
• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
\n
• Every other weekend required
\n
• Rotating holiday coverage required
\n
• Epic EMR experience is required
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience required
\n
• Epic EMR experience required
\n
• All certifications must be issued by AHA or RQI
\n
• Active US Social Security Number required
\n
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
\n
• Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal and religious declinations will not be accepted
\n

• Navy blue scrubs are required
\n
• All candidates must complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer
\n
• Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible for this position: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington

• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application

• Travel pairs are not allowed for this position
