HEM/ONC Locums Opportunity in Indiana

Our organization is in search of a Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum tenens position in Indiana.

• An active Indiana medical license or IMLC is essential.
• Candidates must hold Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, is required.
• The role is set in an outpatient clinic/office environment.
• On average, the physician will see around 30 patients daily.

• Coverage Requirements:
  • Daytime infusion coverage.
  • Evening call coverage.
• Type of Opportunity: This is a long-term assignment with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.

• Management of VAD/CV catheters.
• Bone marrow biopsy procedures.

• Active participation in tumor board meetings.
• Management of bone marrow transplant cases.
• Ordering necessary tests.
• Coordinating with the blood bank.
• Requesting imaging studies.
• Prescribing appropriate medications.
