Academic Family Medicine with OB - North Carolina Mountains

Our organization is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Family Medicine physician with Obstetrics expertise at our recently established satellite campus in Boone, NC, part of a Family Medicine Residency program based in Asheville, NC.

Opportunity Overview

• Currently, there are three family medicine faculty members in Boone, and we are eager to expand our team by adding two more physicians.

• We are specifically seeking candidates who specialize in Family Medicine with a focus on Obstetrics.

• At least one of the new hires should possess C-section skills.

• The roles will encompass a significant amount of women's health care alongside obstetric responsibilities.

• The positions will be divided into approximately 60% clinical work and 40% academic involvement.

• Candidates with C-section capabilities will be offered compensation at the higher end of the salary range.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary range for this position is between $215,000 and $260,000.

• A sign-on bonus will be provided.

• Enjoy six weeks of vacation along with continuing medical education (CME) time.

• We offer $4,000 for CME expenses.

• A retirement plan is also included.
