Job SummaryOperates imaging equipment and performs routine diagnostic procedures as prescribed by physicians according to established standards and practices in order to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. \n

Job ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities\n

• \n

  Performs imaging procedures using appropriate technical and safety method as requested by a licensed physician.

\n
• \n

  Exercise judgement in selecting and computing settings for each patient. 

\n

\n

\n
• \n

  Develop an appropriate procedure/treatment plan.

\n

\n

\n
• \n

  Implements procedure/treatment plan utilizing established protocols/guidelines.

\n

\n

\n
• \n

  Completes documentation as required to comply with policies and procedures.

\n

\n

\n
• \n

  Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

\n

\n

\n
• \n

  Participates in departmental performance improvement activities to ensure that patient care is consistent with established standards. Collects quality data for monitoring performance improvement.

• \n

  Completes assigned goals.

  Performs other duties as assigned.
