Job Description
Our organization, dedicated to Women's Health, is composed of skilled Physicians who possess the expertise required to deliver obstetrical and gynecological care tailored to the specific age groups of our patients.
We are currently looking for a full-time Physician to join our OB/GYN practice located in Sharon, CT. Our team consists of two MDs, and all OB Providers share on-call responsibilities while serving patients at a single office location. This practice is affiliated with a local hospital.
Applicants should be capable of diagnosing patient conditions and offering suitable treatment options. A solid understanding of fetal growth and development principles is essential, along with the ability to recognize and categorize the unique needs of patients based on their age.
Position Highlights- Conduct thorough physical examinations and gather comprehensive patient medical information, including health history and examination results.
- Order or perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, and basic wound care.
- Educate and counsel patients on adhering to prescribed treatment plans, understanding normal growth and development, family planning, managing emotional challenges, and maintaining overall health.
- Develop and execute patient management plans, monitor hospitalized patients as necessary, document progress notes, and support continuity of care.
- Achieve proficiency in the Electronic Medical Record System.
- Handle billing submissions during office visits.

- Experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution
- Board certified or board eligible
- Valid Connecticut medical license
- Federal and State controlled substance licenses
- BLS certification
- Eligibility for hospital privileges
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), active listening, and excellent customer service abilities
