MRI Technologist – Minimum Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Required Certifications
ARRT (MR)
BLS Certification (AHA)
Active state license
Required Skills
MRI examinations of:
Brain
Spine (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar)
Abdomen and Pelvis
Musculoskeletal studies
Extremities
MRA procedures
Patient screening and MRI safety protocols
Contrast administration and monitoring
Image acquisition and quality assessment
Knowledge of MRI coils, sequences, and protocols
Ability to respond to emergency situations and maintain patient safety
Equipment & Systems
Experience with MRI scanners (GE, Siemens, or Philips preferred)
Familiarity with EPIC EMR
PACS experience
Preferred Qualifications
Acute care and outpatient MRI experience
Experience with contrast-enhanced studies
Strong IV insertion and venipuncture skills
ARRT (MR) certification
