Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Operating Room Circulator position in Crestview, FL, requiring 2+ years of OR experience, robotics experience, and a FL or compact RN license.

• Located in the Operating Room (OR) department of a hospital in Crestview, FL
\n
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
\n
• On-call responsibilities are required
\n
• 13-week contract
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active FL or compact RN license required
\n
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or American Red Cross)
\n
• Minimum 2 years of OR Circulator experience required
\n
• Robotic surgical experience required
\n
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
\n
• All certifications must remain active for at least 30 days beyond the contract start date
\n
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
\n

Additional Information\n

• Responsibilities include ensuring adequate supply availability, maintaining case timeliness, communicating with patient families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervising patient care personnel
\n
• Works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR techs, and other surgical team members in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards
\n
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
\n
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
\n
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
\n
