Profit Protection Supply Chain and Services Sr Manager
The Profit Protection Supply Chain and Services Sr Manager role leads and manages the profit protection and safety functions for assigned U.S. Retail Service facilities, assigned Supply Chain District Distribution Center (DDC), Regional Distribution Center (RDC), and Delivery Pads. Responsible for deploying strategies, championing, coaching, training and performing regular assessments of Inventory, Profit Protection (PP), Safety and Fraud related elements of the business. Develops networks and partnerships with retailers, federal and local law enforcement agencies aimed at preventing Organized Retail Crime. Provides support to Market & Territory teams regarding identification of process breakdowns within all aspects of retail operations which pose company risk or liability. This role directs the modification and implementation of policies, procedures and systems required for the prevention, detection, investigating and reporting of losses throughout Best Buy Supply Chain and Services.
This role reports to the Sr Director, Supply Chain & Services Profit Protection and is responsible for updating and advising Field Directors and Field managers of Services and Supply Chain on the current state of the business as it pertains to profit protection functions, this includes losses, safety, process improvements, investigations and strengths, opportunities and threats.

Program Execution
- Supervise and conduct customer, employee and 3rd party investigations within services and supply chain environment.
- Manages and supports the assigned Supply Chain and Services teams and locations on inventory, shrink prevention and trends, profit protection and safety programs.
- Documents and reports of related internal and external theft incidents, including making recommendations to mitigate future losses.
- Oversees the Safety Incident Review process in assigned facilities and responsibility for safety culture, accident reduction, safety committee execution, O.S.H.A. compliance and significant accident investigations in all supply chain locations.
- Conducts quarterly assessments and audits in assigned locations to evaluate the effectiveness and execution of key location processes.
Leadership
- Champions the commitment to execution of all aspects of Profit Protection safety programs for assigned locations.
- Supports and partners with Supply Chain and Retail multiunit leadership to understand multiple distinct business models including RDC’s, DDC’s, Delivery Pads, Retail to navigate and influence upward within these distinct business units.
- Collaborates with assigned leaders to ensure processes protect Customer Data Privacy (CDP) are cost effective and mitigates losses to the enterprise.
Corporate Leadership
- Ensures effective and efficient collaboration and communication with cross functional teams across the organization.
- Seeks knowledge and support from the Center of Excellence (COE) and other sources.
Basic Qualifications
- 5 yrs. of P&L Management experience
- 5 yrs. of Progressive Asset Protection (AP), Risk Management experience
- 5 yrs. of Retail AP Multi-unit leadership/ Multi-facility leadership experience
- 2 yrs. of collaborative partnership with Supply Chain and/or Services experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified AP credentials (Wicklander, Reid, etc.)
