Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $2600- $2700 Week

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert pre- and post-operative care for cardiovascular surgery patients
• Monitor vital signs and manage complex cardiac drips with precision
• Collaborate with surgeons and the care team to ensure seamless surgical outcomes
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans with compassion and clarity

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular surgery nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiovascular surgery protocols
• Hemodynamic monitoring
• Post-operative wound care
• Patient education and advocacy
