Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client in the Auburn, Maine area is seeking a contractor to design mechanical systems for custom industrial automation equipment and robotics solutions. You'll be creating detailed drawings and 3D models while supporting turnkey solutions, upgrades and service with a small but mighty company and team involved in meaningful work.

The ideal candidate has:

• 3 or more years of relevant experience
• Experience or aptitude in machinery and automation system design
• Strong CAD skills in SolidWorks, Solid Edge or other similar software.
• Willingness and ability to work with your hands (assembly/test)
