Power BI Developer

Xtreme Solutions is seeking a talented Power BI Developer to support enterprise reporting, business intelligence, and data visualization initiatives within a federal Microsoft 365 environment. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize dashboards, reports, and semantic models that provide actionable insights for operational teams, leadership, and executive stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards and reports
• Build and support Power BI semantic models, datasets, and data visualizations
• Create operational, management, and executive-level reporting solutions
• Integrate data from SharePoint Online, SQL Server, Dataverse, Excel, and other enterprise systems
• Optimize report performance, refresh schedules, and data processing workflows
• Support data validation, quality assurance, and reporting accuracy efforts
• Configure role-based access controls and reporting security
• Develop technical documentation, user guides, and reporting standards
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deployment activities
• Troubleshoot reporting, visualization, and data integration issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver business intelligence solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of Power BI development experience
• Minimum 3 years of enterprise reporting and dashboard development experience
• Experience integrating Power BI with:
  • SharePoint Online
  • SQL Server
  • Dataverse
  • Excel
  • Microsoft 365 data sources
• Experience supporting business intelligence and reporting solutions in enterprise environments
• Experience developing reports for both operational and executive stakeholders
• Experience supporting data validation and reporting accuracy activities

• Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Experience with Power BI Deployment Pipelines
