Home Care Speech Therapy

 

University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated Home Care Speech Therapist to provide high-quality speech therapy services to clients in their homes in the Southeast MI Region. Must be willing to travel. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives by helping them improve their communication and swallowing abilities in a comfortable and personalized setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Provide direct speech therapy services to clients in their homes with a focus on functional outcomes.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to support optimal patient care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current in the field.

Requirements

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or certification as required by the state of Michigan.
• Experience in home health or outpatient speech therapy preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes within Southeast MI Region.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation.
