In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, unsecured entry points, and/or facility issues.
• Monitor access points and verify badges, visitor credentials, and/or delivery authorizations in accordance with site policies for restricted and controlled areas.
• Support day-to-day security-related operations by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and/or first responders while following post orders and escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
